Installation Guide

This guide explains how to install the Process Vision application.

Hardware Requirements

Installation Steps

  1. Obtain the installer: Get the Process Vision installer (Jope.App.ProcessVision.exe) from your system administrator.

  2. Run the installer: Double-click the installer and follow the setup wizard.

  3. Install .NET Runtime: If the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime is not already installed, the installer will prompt you to download and install it.

  4. Installation complete: After installation, a Process Vision shortcut will appear on your desktop.

Hardware Connections

Controller Connections

  1. Connect the TAIE FC series controllers to the computer's COM ports using RS-232 or RS-485 cables.
  2. Verify the temperature controller is connected to the designated COM port (default: COM1, Slave Address 1).
  3. Verify the pressure controller is connected to the designated COM port (default: COM2, Slave Address 2).

High-Speed Camera Connection

  1. Connect the Chronos high-speed camera to the computer or local network via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Verify the camera IP address is 192.168.12.1 (default) and ensure the computer and camera are on the same subnet.
  3. Test the network connection (e.g., ping 192.168.12.1).

Automatic Updates

Process Vision supports automatic updates. When a new version is available, the system will prompt you at startup. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Uninstallation

Go to Windows "Settings > Apps", find Process Vision, and click "Uninstall" to remove the application.
